GERSON CORONADO POLISHED

Gerson Coronado Polido started working at a metalworking company at the age of 12. He started three companies, all of which failed. He worked as a salesman at his uncle's company, where he fell in love with sales. After experiencing great financial difficulties due to his father, Pedro, falling ill, Gerson had to start his own business again.

1994

PERFECT AUTOMOTIVE FOUNDATION

"Zé Curso", nicknamed by his friends due to his thirst for knowledge, started Perfect Automotive, and in one of his courses at SEBRAE, on Total Quality, he saw a different niche within the automotive industry! Parts for imported cars, which until then were a novelty. (Opening of the Market - Fernando Collor de Mello Period)

1997-2003

START OF IMPORTS - UNITED STATES

During this period, he bravely visited several fairs in the United States, even though he did not speak English, with the aim of developing suppliers. He opened a headquarters in Miami, where he consolidated products to be sent to Brazil, in his warehouse in Vila Maria-SP.

2003 - 2008

PERFECT AUTOMOTIVE LEGACY

He identified that a large part of the products brought from Miami originated from China, and Gerson always said - “When I was young, I bought parts for my cars at scrapyards, because auto parts were very expensive, and what I want to offer the market are products with manufacturer quality and an affordable price”.

2008 - 2011

ACCELERATED GROWTH

Even though the market is prejudiced against Chinese products, Gerson was the pioneer once again, assuming the origin and guaranteeing the quality of his products. This package, combined with the competitive price, drove Perfect to expand its market share, having to move to a new warehouse in Guarulhos-SP.

2012 - 2015

MOGI DAS CRUZES HEADQUARTERS

After years of growth, a larger warehouse was needed. Gerson found an opportunity in Mogi das Cruzes and built Perfect's headquarters, which can now store over 5 million pieces in its 17.000 square meters of area.

2015 - 2018

DREAM COME TRUE

Its origins came to light, the dream of the factory became reality. Gerson, with his entrepreneurial spirit, saw opportunities in Ciudad Del Este - Paraguay, where the production of pivots, terminals and axials began, and with that the certifications and sales to the assemblers.

2018 - 2022

BRAND STRENGTHENING AND FACTORY EXPANSION

Even in a period of uncertainty (Pandemic, 2020), Perfect did not stop investing and growing, started manufacturing brake cylinders in its factory, and increased investments in branding, focusing on social media, starting the Perfect Partners Project, EAD Courses, building the Perfect Workshop (Mogi das Cruzes) and investing in the sport of Drift.

EXPORT

OPEN DOORS TO THE WORLD

A new milestone is formed, the ease of communication and interaction between countries opens the doors to export sales, with a new logistics warehouse in Paraguay, in addition to the countries that were already served in South America, international trade is expanded and Perfect expands to overcome any barrier and supply to any country in the world.

CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS

With the aim of providing greater synergy between the companies of the Perfect Group, our corporate headquarters is opening in one of the largest business epicenters in the world, in the city of São Paulo, aiming to provide better interaction between employees, suppliers and customers.
